You can make posts appear on any date and time you choose. This is especially helpful if you create several posts at once and do not want to overload your site visitors or know you will have limited or no Internet access, but would like to continue providing new content.
When editing or creating any post, there is a “Publish” block in the top right sidebar of your editing page. There are three options, “Status,” “Visibility” and “Publish.” Choosing “Edit” to the right of “Publish” allows you to choose the date and time your post will appear.
(The publish box looks a little different in the Gutenberg editor, but it functions the same way. Click on the date to change when the post will publish)
If you have blog subscribers or use the RSS feed to automatically send email based on an RSS feed from your blog, subscribers will only receive email notifications when your post becomes public.
This is an especially useful tool for users who are in a tribe and have limited or no internet access for weeks or months at a time.
