How do I edit a page on my blog?

March 19, 2010 by Stephen Narwold

Pages on your blog are represented by the menu tabs at the top of your blog; About, Give, Photos, Subscribe and Contact.  These titles should not be edited, but you can edit the content on those pages.

All the pages except About already have content and forms on them that do not require any changes to function.  The About page however is where you tell visitors to your blog who you are, what you do and how God called you to your ministry.

You edit a Page the same way you would a Post, only in a different location:

  1. Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the left-hand Pages tab.
  3. Click the All Pages sub tab if you’re not there already
  4. Click on the page you want to edit.
  5. If you would like to see how your  page will appear to blog visitors, use the Preview Changes button. Your preview will appear in another tab or window.
  6. When you are ready, click Publish.
