Why am I’m getting so many “Content Violation” messages?

August 19, 2009 by Stephen Narwold

First, make sure when you edit a post you use “Preview Changes” while you are still working on it and want to know how it looks.  Only use “Update Post” when you are finished editing.

Secondly, the content filter programming has been outsourced and that company has not delivered the final product we requested yet.  Editing some of the alerts you are receiving is outside our control, but we are working to resolve this as soon as possible.

The content filter is based on the Ethnos360 Communication Guidelines, but is sometimes more specific based on the intended guideline purpose or more specific information provided to us by the person responsible for safety in a particular region.

when preparing a new post, the auto-save feature is creating a email regarding “Content Violation”. I don’t have to click publish or preview.
